What the test is for
Chikungunya IgG+IgM Antibody Test Kit is a rapid, qualitative and convenient lateral flow immunoassay for the simultaneous detection and differentiation of IgG and IgM antibodies to Chikungunya virus in human serum, plasma and/or whole blood samples.
Test principle
The Chikungunya IgG+IgM Antibody Test is a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay. The test strip consists of a colored conjugate pad containing recombinant Chikungunya envelope antigens conjugated with colloidal gold (Chikungunya Ag conjugates) and a control antibody conjugated with colloidal gold, and a nitrocellulose membrane strip containing two test lines (G and M lines) and a control line (C line). The G line is pre-coated with antibodies for the detection of anti-Chikungunya virus IgG, the M line is pre-coated with antibodies for the detection of anti-Chikungunya virus IgM, and the C line is pre-coated with a control line antibody.
